KOMPUTER JADUL-, AMD has officially released three new laptop processors (CPUs) from the Ryzen AI 300 Series specifically for the Chinese market. The three CPUs are named Ryzen AI 5 H 340, Ryzen AI 7 H 350, and Ryzen AI 9 H 365. These three processors are "twins" of the AMD Ryzen AI 5 340, Ryzen AI 7 350, and Ryzen AI 9 365 processors that were introduced at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025 last January.
They are called twins because the latest CPUs for the Chinese market have very similar capabilities to the global version of the CPU. This means that AMD only added the "H" suffix in the middle of the CPU name to simply rebrand the Chinese version. AMD did not reveal why they rebranded the Ryzen AI 300 Series for the Chinese version.
Well, just like the global version, the AMD Ryzen AI 9 H 365 has capabilities that are much more capable than the AMD Ryzen AI 7 H 350 and Ryzen AI H 340. This CPU is equipped with a number of cores reaching 10 units with 20 threads, with a base clock speed of 2 GHz and a maximum (boost) of 5 GHz.
This CPU is combined with a Radeon 880M graphics processor (GPU) (12 cores, 2,900 MHz), as well as an AI performance processor aka NPU which is claimed to be able to run 50 trillion operations per second (TOPS).
AMD's latest processor for the Chinese market has an L2 + L3 cache of 34 MB, and a standard power consumption level (TDP) of 28 watts. For the specifications of AMD Ryzen AI 7 H 350 and Ryzen AI 5 H 340 are similar to Ryzen AI 9 H 365. The difference lies in the number of cores, boost speed, cache, and GPU used by the user.
The complete specifications of AMD Ryzen AI 5 H 340, Ryzen AI H 350, and Ryzen AI 9 H 365 can be seen in the following table, as summarized by Berita Journalists from Videocardz, on Sunday (22/2/2025).
