Budget Phones For Students: ZTE Nubia V70 Series And V70 Design Series Launched Also At Affordable Prices

 KOMPUTER JADUL-, Nubia launched its latest series of phones, the V70 and V70 Design, on Thursday (20/2) with entry-level price tags starting at IDR 1,499 million.

The two phones, which come with a price difference of only IDR 300 thousand, have slight differences, one of which is the chipset used.

"For the V70 we use the Unisoc T616 chipset, and the V70 design uses the Unisoc T606 chipset", said Bernardus Agung, Marketing Manager of ZTE Indonesia at the launch event in Jakarta, Thursday (20/2).

The V70 has a larger memory, namely 8+12GB RAM and 256GB storage. While the V70 Design carries 8+8GB RAM and 128GB memory.

In terms of design, the phones that are said to target students have differences in a camera module, where the V70 Design carries a camera module arranged in a triangle shape, while the V70 is square.

The V70 carries a 108MP main camera accompanied by a depth sensor. The photography capabilities of this phone are also supported by several AI features, such as AI Optical Character Recognition, AI Portrait Light, AI Magic Unblur, AI Background Unblur, AI Magic Editor, AI Eraser, and AI Photo Search.

Meanwhile, the V70 Design camera is 50MP and is also equipped with a depth sensor.

Another difference is the color options. The V70 is available in gray, pink and green while the V70 Design is dark gray, dark green and yellow.

Other specifications on the two phones are not much different. Both have a 6.7-inch HD+ screen with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. To support its performance, both carry a 5,000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging.

The V70 and V70 Design have received SGS 50-Month Smooth certification which guarantees reliable long-term performance without a decrease in speed. On the operating system using Android 14.

- V70 Design: IDR 1,499 million

- V70: IDR 1,799 million

During the promotion period until March 2, 2025, ZTE is giving a special price for the V70 which is IDR 100 thousand cheaper to IDR 1,699 million, while the V70 Design is IDR 1,449 million or down IDR 50 thousand.
