KOMPUTER JADUL-, BYD has started opening orders for the super luxury SUV Denza N9 in China. The car is offered with a price range starting from IDR 1 billion.
Denza, which also completes its product line in the premium segment. Most recently, the premium brand under BYD will release the luxury SUV N9. BYD is known to have opened orders for the Denza N9 in China. Quoted from Car News China, the premium SUV, a potential challenger to the Range Rover, is offered with prices starting from 450,000-550,000 yuan, which if converted into rupiah is equivalent to IDR 1-1.2 billion.
The plan is that there will be a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) version that will be launched earlier in March, followed by an electric variant. Will fill the position of a large SUV, the Denza N9 has large dimensions. This car has a length of 5,258 mm, a width of 2,030 mm, and a height of 1,830 mm. The wheelbase is 3,125 mm.
Denza N9 carries BYD DiSus-A with intelligent air body control and also the e3 platform. Armed with that, Denza N9 has an independent three-motor drive, independent rear-wheel dual-motor steering, turns with a small radius, and can walk like a crab.
As a very cool additional feature, BYD will also embed the 'God's Eye' autopilot feature on the latest Denza N9. Behind the engine, for the PHEV version, Denza N9 carries a 2.0L turbo engine with a power of 152 kW which is paired with three electric motors of 200 kW / 240 kW / 240 kW. The combination of the four produces a total power of 680 kW or equivalent to 912 horsepower. Then the battery has a capacity of 46,992 kWh.
While the electric version is equipped with three electric motors that can produce 710 kW of power or equivalent to 952 hp. Its very savage power certainly doesn't take long to accelerate from 0-100 km / h. Denza N9 can go from 0-100 km/h in three seconds. In terms of range, Denza N9 can go more than 200 km with pure electric power. But overall (full battery and full tank) it can travel as far as 1,300 km.
Filling the premium segment, of course the interior looks very elegant. In the cockpit, Denza N9 uses three screens consisting of a 17.3 inch central control screen, 13.2 inch LCD instrument, and 13.2 inch screen for the entertainment system. Then there is also a 50 inch AAR-HUD and a streaming screen on the side of the rearview mirror.
There are not many physical buttons visible on the center console. However, there are two wireless charging pads in front. Under the armrest, there is a refrigerator for storing food. The interior has a 2+2+2 configuration and has a fairly spacious trunk. The trunk is claimed to be able to accommodate a golf bag, five 20 inch suitcases, five backpacks horizontally.
