Komputer Jadul -, As we already know, to install Windows 11 without the help of bypass or other methods, we must use the latest generation processor with a minimum of Intel Gen 8 or AMD equivalent.
However, Microsoft has surprisingly removed several Intel SKUs from the official support list for Windows 11 24H2. Although basically this SKU should be supported on Windows 11 24H2 because it meets the official requirements of Windows 11 itself.
So according to the official Microsoft page, the Ice Lake U and Y (Intel Gen 10 mobile) and Comet Lake (Intel Gen 10 desktop and mobile) SKUs have been discontinued, while support for Gen 8 and 9 (Cofee Lake) components has also been discontinued.
So, with that said Microsoft will apparently no longer support this component on new devices at least on paper based on the document.

So, even though on paper this SKU may no longer be supported, users can still install Windows 11 without any problems on devices with the Intel SKU mentioned above.
Microsoft clarified
Quoted from Windows Latest, Microsoft said that the requirements have not changed, where they will not block anyone with the Intel SKU from installing Windows 11.
In my opinion, perhaps Microsoft removed the SKU support list in Windows 11 24H2 because the processor is already considered old for 2025, especially if it is used by OEMs to build new devices for sale on the market.
Therefore, Microsoft recommends that manufacturers or OEMs use the latest processors to keep Windows 11 running well without any problems.
Even so, let's wait for Microsoft's clarification regarding this matter, and why they removed a number of these SKUs from the Windows 11 24H2 support list, because clearly this has made a lot of noise among netizens not only in Indonesia but also abroad, even though if we look further, in fact everything has been explained on the support page shared by Microsoft itself.
What is clear is that Intel Gen 8 Processors or newer will still be supported to run Windows 11, the same as before.
