This feature allows all users to transfer files wirelessly and control their Mac directly from the device. OPPO Find N5 uses the same operating system as the Find X8 Pro, namely ColorOS 15 which is based on Android 15. However, there is an additional O+ Connect feature for Mac. macOS users can install this O+ Connect application on their Apple desktops and laptops (compatible with macOS 10.14 and above).

When on the same Wi-Fi network, they will be able to transfer photos, notes, videos, and documents, and even edit files on their phones directly on their Mac.

Users can also browse, move, and edit files on their Mac directly from the Find N5, with changes synchronized automatically. Oppo claims to transfer 100 photos in just about eight seconds. This software also functions as a remote control for Mac. Users can access and control their Mac laptop remotely.

 Oppo Find N5 can display the Mac laptop screen display, allowing users to operate their Mac from their phone. When folded at a 90-degree angle, the top of the screen displays the Mac interface, while the bottom acts as a keyboard or trackpad that supports multi-touch gestures.

This innovation marks a major step in cross-platform functionality, providing more flexibility and productivity for Mac users who want to integrate their Android devices. O+ Connect will be available as an update in ColorOS 15 starting next March. 

When asked whether the O+ Connect feature will be expanded to other Oppo product lines, Billy Zhang, President of Overseas MKT, Sales and service Oppo said that Oppo is currently focusing on Find N5, because if O+ Connect is installed on a device with a smaller screen size, the experience may be different.
