KOMPUTER JADUL-, The world's leading technology industry manufacturer, Asus, has launched its latest ROG Flow Z13, a gaming tablet that is claimed to be the most powerful in the world.
The ROG Flow Z13 (2025) is also currently the first and only gaming device to use the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor, which combines 16 Zen 5 CPU cores and an RDNA 3.5-based Radeon 8060S Graphics GPU in a single chip.
Thanks to unified memory technology up to 64GB LPDDR5X 8,000MHz and a quad-channel configuration, this gaming tablet is able to dynamically allocate VRAM, ensuring optimal performance for both gaming and heavy-duty tasks such as AI and rendering.
Cooling based on stainless steel and lightweight copper vapor chambers with larger intake vents and 2nd Gen Arc Flow fans ensures high thermal efficiency, keeping temperatures stable even under intensive workloads.
The screen used is the ROG Nebula Display 13 inch 2.5K 180Hz, with DCI-P3 100% and a brightness level of 500 nits and a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The battery has a capacity of 70Wh and its power consumption is regulated using the Strix Halo processor.
Asus promises, even though it 'only' uses an integrated GPU, the performance of the ROG Flow Z13 (2025) has gaming performance equivalent to a gaming laptop that uses a discrete GPU.
The Ryzen AI Max+ 395 is also equipped with an NPU with AI processing capabilities of up to 50 TOPS, which allows it to use the Copilot+ PC label.
The capable performance of the ROG Flow Z13 is partly due to the use of Quad Channel Unified Memory, which is the first time it has been used on a gaming tablet. Unlike conventional gaming laptops or tablets that have separate memory for the CPU and GPU, the ROG Flow Z13 (2025) uses one large memory pool that can be dynamically allocated for its CPU and GPU cores.
This mechanism allows gamers to really enjoy abundant VRAM access when playing modern games, as well as optimal performance for other heavy tasks outside of gaming. The up to 64GB LPDDR5X 8000MHz RAM chip used is not only large in capacity, but also very fast.
When used as a portable workstation, the ROG Flow Z13 (2025) can appear with up to 48GB of VRAM, making it an ideal device for AI-based computing. This configuration allows the ROG Flow Z13 (2025) to run large language models (LLM) that have large parameters locally, making it a powerful choice for various advanced AI tasks, as well as creative and professional needs.
This gaming tablet is very equipped with two USB-C ports that support USB4, DisplayPort 1.4, and power delivery for high flexibility in connecting accessories and additional devices. In addition, the ROG Flow Z13 (2025) is also equipped with HDMI 2.1, USB Type-A, microSD slot, and audio combo jack.
