KOMPUTER JADUL - Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., a global leader in the industry, today announced that One UI 7 will officially launch on April 7, bringing a bold new design to give users more personalization and control over their user experience. One UI 7 introduces a new interface designed for AI, helping users interact with their Galaxy devices in a more intuitive and easy way than ever before. The update will be available starting with the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold6, and Z Flip6, and will gradually roll out to more Galaxy smartphones and tablets.
New Design for Greater Personalization
One UI 7 comes with a simple, impactful, and emotional design, providing a cleaner and easier-to-use experience for Galaxy users. The simplified homepage, redesigned One UI widgets, and lock screen allow users to customize their devices in a more intuitive and easy way.
For added convenience, the Now Bar provides important information directly on the lock screen. So, while you’re out for your morning run, you can easily see your running progress and the song currently playing on your Galaxy Buds – all with a single swipe, without having to unlock your device.
Smarter AI Features for a More Intuitive Experience
One UI 7 introduces a more seamless AI-powered experience, helping users stay productive and explore their creativity.
With Galaxy AI, users can streamline everyday tasks, reducing the need to switch between apps. AI Select intelligently provides recommendations based on on-screen context. For example, users can simply swipe the Edge Panel and click the ‘AI Select’ icon while watching a video to save it as a GIF file. Writing Assist makes it easy for users to automatically summarize or format content from selectable text.
One UI 7 also enables simple editing that gives users more control and creative freedom. Drawing Assist helps bring ideas to life with more than one input, including a combination of text, images, or sketches. Audio Eraser makes advanced editing more accessible, by separating sound categories and removing unwanted noise in videos.
With more comprehensive Google Gemini integration, setting up your device is as easy as talking to a friend. Long-press the side button and say, “Find Italian, pet-friendly restaurants with outdoor seating nearby.” Gemini instantly displays recommendations in one seamless interaction.
Verbal search has also been extended to Settings, making it easier to adjust preferences. If your eyes are feeling tired from staring at the screen for long periods of time, you can simply go into Settings and say, “My eyes are feeling tired.” In an instant, you’ll see recommended options, like adjusting the brightness or turning on Eye Comfort Shield.
